Whether you stay in the charming Main Lodge, the landmark Globe Hotel, or you opt for Camping, you are free to enjoy all of the Sierra Hot Springs facilities during your stay.

Staying overnight at Sierra Hot Springs furnishes a unique opportunity for relaxation and rejuvenation.  Whether you wish to go for a midnight soak under star-studded skies, or rise with the sun for a daybreak hike, our scenic surroundings will accommodate you.

Well-behaved children are welcome at Sierra Hot Springs, including all accommodations. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Children are allowed in the Temple Dome Warm Pool between 11am and 6pm and at the Phoenix Baths 24 hours per day. Children under 15 are not allowed the Meditation Pool, the Temple Dome Hot Pool and the Sauna, which are adults only areas.  Families with children should read our Kids’ Code of Conduct prior to arrival.

Staying Overnight

The Main Lodge
The historic Main Lodge houses five comfortable shared bath private rooms. The Lodge, originally built in the 1870’s, also includes a wood-paneled lounge with comfortable couches and a wood burning stove, a guest kitchen, a massage room, the main office and a small store. The Philosophy Café, our restaurant, is located downstairs. The Lodge is within walking distance of all the pools and also has a large lawn and front porch, perfect for lounging. The Lodge broadcasts free high-speed wireless internet.  Please be aware there are resident cats at the Lodge. The Globe Hotel offers a dander free alternative for those with allergies.

The Globe Hotel
The Globe Hotel is located one mile away in the town of Sierraville. The Hotel has a large living room area and a guest kitchen. The building was recently renovated and furnished in beautiful antiques. There is a large back deck for sunbathing and the Hotel is only a minute’s drive away from the pools. The Globe Hotel broadcasts free high-speed wireless internet

Camping
Camping at Sierra Hot Springs is an affordable alternative to indoor lodging. We ask you to arrive in daylight hours to avoid disturbing your neighbors. Please bring a flashlight.

Campers have full use of Sierra Hot Springs facilities, including the trails, pools, guest kitchen, showers, etc. You may also take advantage of massages, meals or other services offered at additional cost.
RV’s and car campers are welcome, we do not provide any hookups.
To maintain a serene environment for everyone, we ask that you do not run your generator.

IMPORTANT:
• Because of fire danger, no camp stoves or fires are allowed.

**November through April
The camping meadow may be closed due to weather and snow melt conditions.  When the camping meadow is closed, car camping in the Lodge/Lower Dome parking lots is still allowed. The Meditation Pool parking lot may also be available (weather dependent).
Please call prior to your arrival to check conditions if you are planning on tent camping.

Camping passes can also be purchased to gain 24-hour access to the property when staying in lodging offsite.
