The Philosophy Cafe is located downstairs in the Main Lodge at Sierra Hot Springs.
Our gourmet cuisine is sure to please the palate and inspire the mind. We offer seasonal, fresh organic food, prepared in a healthy, balanced way using locally grown ingredients whenever possible.

Reservations are not required. Prices range based on your order. Although we do serve meat and fish entrees, there is always a vegetarian/vegan option.

Local Options
There are three restaurants in Sierraville, including Smithneck Farms, for breakfast, coffee & lunch items & Los Dos Hermanos, a highly recommended mexican restaurant. They are open for dinner until 8pm Tues-Sun.
The gas station in Sierraville carries an assortment of grocery items.
Guest kitchens are available at both the Lodge and the Globe. They are stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils & dishes. You will need to bring your own spices, oils, coffee, etc.
